Election Day

So many days have gone by and I haven’t been able to post here.  I think I reached a point of emotional exhaustion watching some of these people (erm Palin).  It’s been a long and exciting two years.  Four years if I count that day in 2004 when I first heard Barack speak and I cried in my bedroom by myself because I had never heard someone call across the country as if speaking to me–as if reassuring me: You’re not alone.

Today is the beginning. Tomorrow we’re going to have a shiny new president.
